GHS Label Making and Review
The GHS states that “the harmonized hazard disclosure system includes appropriate labelling tools to convey the information about each hazard type and category of the globally harmonized system”. The hazard disclosure label is a set of corresponding written, printed, or graphic information elements about a dangerous chemical, including signal words, pictograms, hazard statements, precautionary statements, product identifiers, supplier identifiers, etc. The label is fixed, printed, or attached to the direct container or outer packing of the dangerous chemical to timely and effectively communicate the known hazard information to persons who may be involved in various links of the chemical life cycle.
